Here’s a little Haiku I wrote for last nights Saturday Night @ The OM, the theme was Freedom. Lots of beautiful sharing through storytelling, poetry and song.
What is this Freedom?
Elusive in mind searching
Stop looking to See
It didn’t actually get a chance to be heard as I was instead pushed quite dramatically out of my comfort zone by others there present to sing a song I’d written.
Despite my minds resistance and fear I’d be very off key, no-one seemed to care and was very pleased I found the courage to sing it with improvised guitar and percussion from the musicians present!
Invitation here, to sit with this Haiku and it’s self enquiry.. What is looking for Freedom? Is it not that which is seeking Freedom, from which you are seeking Freedom from?
