I’ve spent most of the day staring at the screen. Either laptop or my phone. I’m very excited to be returning to Whitespace Yoga Studio tomorrow to pick up my Yoga and Yoga Nidra/Meditation classes after having a break. I realised that my insurance needed renewing and I wanted to change provider to cover both my Yoga and Holistic Therapies. You would think this would be easy.
Two out of the four companies I wanted to contact had no phone number on their website! One kept having me on hold for 10 minutes then telling me the office was closed, repeating the opening times (of which I was calling within) and then hanging up. The other had me on hold for 1hr 20mins at which point I gave up.

I attempted various online forms, all of which to my literal brain was very unclear about as there’s always a question where the answer isn’t on the tick box or there are so many variables as to what is being implied, it is difficult to know what you are getting yourself into, hence wanting to clarify with an actual person.
There has been lots of sighing and pauses for deep breaths. Lots of repeating of my todays Heart Word which is “Prioritise”. Reminding me that the insurance was actually more important than getting out this blog! I’ve always found calling people on the phone challenging and yet it is preferable to talk to an actual reassuring person when you’re parting with your money as often there are cancellation fees if you realise you’ve not quite got the cover you need.
Patience is a practice. Meditation practice helps us cultivate Patience. I was frustrated yes for sure. I noticed a lot of judgement around online only communication and sincere concern about how much time, energy and misunderstandings occur with lack of verbal communication. I didn’t scream at the laptop or throw my phone in the marina (I think the waters have claimed enough of my technological gadgets in the last couple of weeks!) Result!
I am finally insured and exhausted by the process.

Coming soon: Motivation Mondays - This morning online Yoga & Meditation class is coming back! I'm still deciding on the time and length.. I'm undecided between 75mins and 90mins. 60 mins was never enough! These classes are a great way to start your week with Heart Words Meditation, Success Journalling for the week ahead, Be Activated Technique, Yoga Asana & Savasana.

It's going to be a fun and maybe frivolous one as myself, James Crawford and Will Taylor serenade you on the Summer Solstice as we explore the theme "Troubadour" with the intention of making you swoon. Inspired by my recent trip to France, the sacred waters and the courts of love, the Troubadours of old would awaken within that yearning to be reunited with the Divine Beloved, revealing within those listening the luminosity Notre Dame. Get the date in your diary and look out for tickets on sale by the end of this week.
At the last Saturday Night @ The OM, Ch’Lu performed an acoustic version of her song, “Don’t” which pretty much sums up my experiences today. If you missed her live at the OM you can catch her at the Chesham Fringe Festival on 23-25th May.
