Meditation Cafe: An Invitation

It’s Monday! It’s also the first of the month. There’s not a Meditation Cafe tonight as it’s Bank Holiday here in the U.K so this is a quick Invitation to have a go at creating a Heart Words Mantras by yourself!

You can Invite a Heart Word to support you for for just this very day.

Here’s how…

1. Place hand on Heart

2. Move awareness to Heart, listen for Heartbeat, feel your awareness moving into a place of deep listening

3.Say the Self Enquiry in your mind whilst listening:

“My Heart, what quality, what energy wants to support me through just those day?”

4.Listen (with all your unfamiliar senses) for a word or sense of the energy that becomes a word.

5. Consciously welcome the energy of the word and feel it already Present in you.

6. Add your prefix to create a Mantra. OM or I AM are good prefixes to start with if you!re new to this. So if your Heart Word is Patience, your Mantra is OM Patience or I AM Patience.

7. Become aware of your Heart/Brain Connection/coherence.

8. Repeat the Mantra for the day in your mind anytime you need reminding of what’s important, or when you notice that you are lost in overthinking or anxiety.

If you’re feeling really stressed, pause, put your hand on your Heart and listen for your Heartbeat before saying a Mantra.

You can uses the Mantra to Mediate with your eyes closed for anything from 5 mins to, well, as long as you like! 20 mins is a good length of time to release some stress from your nervous system. 1 minute is better than none.

The bigger invitation is to create and play with a new Heart Word Mantra each day.

If you’d like guidance on how to Meditate with the Heart Word Mantras, please join us next week Monday, 7.30pn for Meditation Cafe. It’s free to join. Donations from the Heart are welcome.

You can find the registration link here.

Let me know in the comments if you have a go, if you find it easy, or what appears to be challenging.

Brightest Easter Blessings
