Bookings & Cancellations
Please Note: These T&C’s apply only to “The Bendy Witch” classes and events, not “Whitespace Yoga” classes and events. Please see their T&C’s on their own website. There is currently only me (Raye), running this small business. I’m trying to keep my system as personal and non-automated as possible, which means you need to allow me time when booking to send emails and links manually, etc, so please bear this in mind.
Zoom Clarity Call: All new online students must have a one time zoom clarity call to attend online classes, workshops and courses. If I know you already or have been a student in the past the clarity call is optional. Please allow time for this (at least a few days notice) if you’re wanting to “drop in”.
Health Declaration Form: It is required that you fill this in before you can attend any classes, workshops and retreat days, whether on zoom or in person and that you notify me of any changes to your health.
Payments: All workshops, retreat days and classes whether drop in, set class bookings or Momentum Membership, livestream or in person, are all pre pay only, no exceptions.
Guest Teachers: I reserve the right to get cover for zoom classes with guest teachers at short notice and when I am on holiday or retreats.
Momentum Members and Set Classes: Monthly payments are set up by you and managed by you so please be respectful to my cash flow and give me 14 days notice or more if possible if you intend to cancel your place (it’s likely at some point I will cap membership places), so I can budget my income for the following month.
Momentum Membership
Terms: By joining the Momentum Membership it is assumed you are signing up to receive class discounts and member benefits for the whole term. If you aren’t able to commit to the rest of term from your joining date, please discuss the options on your clarity call.
Payment Dates:
Autumn Term: You’ll be asked to set up a standing order for the dates and amounts listed below, or you can request that I send you a monthly Pay Pal invoice to be paid on these dates. You’ll be given my bank details on your welcome email, after the clarity call.
You can opt to pay for the whole term upfront at £176. Either way, if you attend all classes it works out at only £4.20 a class over the term!
MONTH | PAYMENT DUE | AMOUNT |
September (term starts 12/9/22) | On Booking | £33 |
October | 23/09/22 | £55 |
November | 21/10/22 | £55 |
December (term ends 16/12/22) | 18/11/22 | £33 |
If you’re starting classes mid month we’ll work out in your clarity call what you need to pay to get going.
Missed Classes: Momentum Membership has been priced in such a way that allows a little wiggle room for both myself and you. If you miss a couple of classes for whatever reason, or there are bank holidays in the month, the average amount you are paying for each class over the term is still very very reasonable. There will be no refunds for missed classes.
Cancelled Classes: This pricing is structured so in the event of an emergency, internet issues or illness and I’ve not got time to arrange a guest teacher there will be no refunds or part refunds issued. Should I have to cancel more than 2 classes in a month, I will refund remaining cancelled classes at the class value in that month or you may deduct it from the following months payment. Hopefully this won’t happen and I’ll have back up teachers in place.
Membership Refunds: There is a no refunds policy should you wish to cancel your membership mid month. You will of course be able to access your remaining classes til the end of the month. Please make sure you are able to attend before booking and give me as much notice as possible should you want to stop your membership.
There is the option to gift remaining classes to a friend or they can buy remaining classes from you. They will need to arrange a clarity call and fill in a health questionnaire and to be sent links for classes directly.
Set Weekly Classes
Payments: For set weekly classes payments are due on the same dates as Momentum Membership dates above at £7 or £6.50 per class as per the sign up form.
Refunds: No refunds with 7 days of start date. There will be no refund should you wish to cancel mid month. If I have to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances and I’m unable to get a guest teacher, you will be refunded in full for that class. Should you miss a class due to illness or emergency you can request to move to a different day within that payment period. (ie, you do Mondays classes but are ill so you request to join Friday instead).
Transfer: There is the option to gift remaining classes to a friend or they can buy remaining classes from you. You will need to inform me and they will need to arrange a clarity call and fill in a health questionnaire and to be sent links for classes directly.
Drop In Classes
Payments: Classes to be booked and payment cleared by 2pm the day preceding the “drop in” class you wish to attend. I cannot guarantee to get the link to you if you book after this time.
Refunds: No refunds within 24hours of the class. If I have to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances and I’m unable to get a guest teacher, you will be refunded in full for that class.
Live Stream & In Person Workshops
Payments: In advance
Refunds: No refunds policy should you cancel within 7 days of the workshop date. Full refund if I should cancel for any reason, ie lack of bookings, issues with venues, unforeseen circumstances, etc..
Retreat Days and Retreats
Payments: In advance
Refunds: No refunds policy should you cancel within 14 days of the retreat date. Full refund less any bank charges before before 14 days or full refund of price paid if I should cancel for any reason, ie lack of bookings, issues with venues, unforeseen circumstances, etc…
One to One Sessions
Payments: In advance
Refunds: No refunds within 48 hours of single sessions and 7 days for block bookings. Full refund if I should have to cancel for any reason due to unforeseen circumstances. Session will be rebooked not refunded, should I encounter any internet issues my end.
I regret no refund or transfer can be given outside of these terms given above, including if you are unable to attend due to illness, injury, work/family changes, pregnancy or other reasons. Before committing to classes, courses or events, please ensure you can attend the event or scheduled number of classes. This cancellation policy is firm. If you are concerned about the possibility of needing to cancel your event, I highly recommend taking out cancellation insurance.
Important information
Mind-body practices such as yoga, meditation are generally very safe. I ask that you take responsibility for your own health and care by listening to your body and respecting it. Your ability may vary from session to session depending on your state of well-being, fitness, tiredness and/or stress levels. Work in a way that feels right for you on any given day. Pain is the body’s warning system and shouldn’t be ignored.
Please advise me before any session if, for any reason, your health or your ability to practice changes (i.e. pregnancy, muscle soreness, joint pain, pulled muscles, minor injuries etc). Please inform me immediately if you feel any discomfort during a session.
If you feel unwell (head cold, dizziness, sickness etc) it is advisable to rest.
As with all forms of physical exercise, it is prudent to consult your doctor before starting. The sessions are not a substitute for medical counselling or treatment. If you have any doubts about how Yoga may affect your health, you should refer back to your medical practitioner. If you are new to practice, always choose easier options. It is not advisable to practice in the later weeks during the first trimester of pregnancy, unless you already have a solid self practice. It is also wise to wait six weeks after the birth before resuming any form of exercise.

• You understand that you may receive verbal assists or adjustments (and physical in live workshops and retreats) to enhance or correct your body posture during class. You will take accountability for alerting the teacher of any injury or impairment in advance before class begins or if you do not want to receive any assists.

It is advisable to drink water during and after sessions to re-hydrate the body and to help flush out toxins that may have been released by your body as a result of your Yoga and Meditation practice. Increasing your water intake (6-8 large glasses per day) will also help to promote and improve your general health and well-being.
