Short answer.. No it’s bloody not! And don’t let anyone tell you any differently. Everyone benefits when you prioritise your Peace.

What does prioritise your Peace even mean?
It means, if you are in a position to do so, that you take responsibility for your own Peace now, before you try to fix someone else’s or wait for the whole world to be at Peace first.
It means you do something everyday that helps you to grow a sense of Peace inside you that is not so easily dissipated when there is conflict on the outside.
It means regularly cleaning out stress from your nervous system so you don’t combust and ideally you want to make that cleaning as important and regular as cleaning your teeth.

A daily Meditation is a way to prioritise your Peace. As is walking in Nature and making time for contemplation and self enquiry.
The world needs you and me and everyone to start prioritising Peace in their own minds and body first. If we each start to reconcile the conflicts within ourselves, we have a much greater chance of creating a Peaceful world on the outside.
The cool thing is, because we are all part of the same consciousness, the more people that choose to do this, the easier it is for everyone else to make it a priority too.
This Peace we are growing inside of us, when we prioritise it, isn’t a Peace that is only there when there is no conflict or war. Prioritising our Peace doesn’t mean we will never experience conflict ever again, so let go of any idealistic notions about it now. It doesn’t mean that you will bypass discomfort for the sake of Peace either.

Prioritising your Peace brings you more into the Present moment so you have a better ability to deal with conflict as it arises and over time, be more stable in your Self in the face it. This Peace you’re prioritising is within you all the way. It carries you through life challenges with more ease and more Grace.
