Meditation Cafe: Nothing To Say

This blog is gonna be short and sweet. Sometimes there’s nothing to say. I could sit and “try” to write something inspired but the Truth is I’m too tired. Which takes us back to last weeks blog, “Are You Trying Too Hard“. If you you didn’t get a chance to read it last week, here’s another invitation to read it now.

I’d like you to contemplate though how comfortable you are in Silence? Can you be comfortably okay with the nothing or are you always trying to fill the space with noise and meaningless small talk to avoid the discomfort of awkward silence?

Are you comfortable expressing what is actually there, or do you edit your original thoughts to make them sound more palatable, or to sound clever, or to charm another or to manipulate?

This will be our theme tonight. Exploring how comfortable (or not) we are in the Silence and how our practice can help us to get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Here’s the registration link for tonights Meditation Cafe Monday 4th March at 7.30pm if you’d like to join us. No previous experience necessary. An open mind and willingness to try is helpful:
