Not only is it a Monday but it’s also the first day of the week and the first day of the month. This is the perfect time to get clear on how to create and play with your “Heart Words” to Meditate!
Tonight we’ll create “Heart Words” for this year (if you haven’t done this already), for this month, for this week and for this day. Why might we want to do this? This Mooji quote says it all…

Heart Word Mantras act like little invitations to come back to your Heart when the chitter chatter of mind has taken residence as your dominant experience. They can act like a portal for Heartfelt qualities to become more prominent in your experience and help you to get clearer on what is the Maya, the illusory Nature of your thoughts, and what is actually real in this moment.
Looking after your Heart both physically, emotionally and spiritually is of utmost importance if you are to function as a healthy Human Being.
Learning to listen to your Heart, and I’m not talking about the ideals and concepts of Love that you might confuse with the voice of Heart (that often leads us astray), is to hear the silent voice of your intuition. As you learn its subtle language you’ll be less easily thrown off course. Trusting in your Heart’s Wisdom makes you infinitely stronger not weaker.

Anahata is the Sanskrit name for the Heart Chakra. It translates to something like, “Unstruck, unhurt or unbeaten”. The energy flowing through this centre is that which awakens in us the capacity to Love unconditionally, have Compassion for ourselves and others and to forgive so we can get on with living a Joyful life Now.
To live from the Wisdom of the Heart is to be led through life intuitively, to become more aware of this internal buffer that is Present always, beyond the pain and suffering of the unmet expectations and disappointments of the mind.
Is your Heart calling you to listen more deeply? Is you Heart guiding you in a certain direction that you’re afraid to take because the mind doesn’t yet know the “how” or whether or not a choice will “work out”?

Connecting more deeply with my Heart and listening to the Wisdom that pours forth from within, helps me to let go of not needing to know outcomes, to show up more fully, more authentically, more honestly, more lovingly, which in effect gives me the best opportunity for things to work out.
And if they don’t… Well.. I’ve learnt to Trust there’s a reason for that. The well of Universal Love never runs dry. It’s also helped me to Trust what is deeper than the eye sees, to See what is the Truth beyond what is being presented.
My “heart” has appeared to be broken so many times now that I know it doesn’t ever actually break. I know that it’s my dreams unfulfilled and my unmet expectations (that I’m not always aware I even have until they aren’t fulfilled) that break! I cry yes, I grieve yes, and yet I know this is happening within an Ocean of Love that I was previously unaware of, that holds me steady. I mention this in my 2014 poem I See You.
