You thought you were on a roll
You thought you were in control
Only to find it was all an illusion
From your misplaced delusion
That you could freeze time
In the relative sublime
And while you struggle to pick up

She waits, in the void she lingers
Patiently, for you to surrender
Praying for you to remember
That you are not the changeable
But the untouchable
