Happy New Year! Welcome to 2024, an 8 year in numerology. 8 is a number of Power and Abundance, its shape being that of Infinity. This year we are reminded to wield our power wisely, that energy is infinitely available to us as we learn to master the energies of accountability and responsibility to create Abundance.
As you are reading this I’ll be coming out of 2 days of Silence and Meditation. Boat stress has built up this last month. This is a chance for me to defrag my nervous system and enter into the New Year in a new way, with the energies of calmness and clarity that I wish to carry into it. I’m starting as I mean to go on.

Sitting in Silence for me is not about avoidance. The Silence is not passive like some people seem to think. I’ll go into more detail on the in another blog. Sitting in Silence is a space to face whats hiding in the darkness of my unconsciousness, to welcome uncomfortable emotions, to see more clearly where I’m deluding mySelf and allow it all to dissolve.. in the Silence.. so I am more sure and aware of the power within me, more in tune with the Wisdom that guides me and more confident to do what I need to do and say what I need to say without fear getting in the way. Meditation is an eternal dance with the Divine, not a destination.

In tonights Meditation cafe we’ll be going through the process of creating Heart Words Mantra. We’ll start with a quality that wants to support you through the whole of 2024, we’ll create a Mantras for the year, a Mantra for this week and one this day (albeit there won’t be much of the day left by the time we get to Meditation Cafe!) so you are clear on how to create Mantras every week and everyday if you so choose.
I’ll share with you how to use these 3 mantras daily for an eyes closed Meditation practice and how to use the Mantras with our eyes open as you go about your day too.
You might like to have a pen and paper handy or to start a Meditation Journal, to keep track of the Heart Words that are coming up for you. You’ll often see a theme.

If you’ve tried to Meditate before and stopped, you currently Meditate but find it challenging or you want to try but think you can’t, I’d love to hear about your challenges and thoughts on why you don’t do it in the comments so I can address these in future blogs and meditation Cafes.

Remember last weeks blog with the affirmation, “I am not my thoughts!” that I also needed reminding of. Since last week I have been clearly shown some of my “special” thoughts, particularly around the relationship with my body.
